Asset Investment Planning

We understand that community groups can be very enthusiastic and passionate about taking over and running an asset.

These assets may come in all shapes and sizes and could range from a modern library or sports pavilion at one end of the scale to an iconic and historically important Town Hall at the other.

Whatever the asset, community groups need to be fully aware of the responsibilities and requirements of taking on an asset. We can work with your group to review all the property information available and also survey the asset itself, to ensure that a long term clear picture of the levels of investment required in the future can be established.

Similarly, we can work with public bodies to ensure that all appropriate and relevant information is made available and presented in a format that can be clearly understood by community groups.

Interpreting this information is critical. On the one hand, you will need to know how much the asset is going to cost to maintain, improve and run over the lifetime of your project and beyond. On the other, you will need to know if the asset is, or will be, “fit for purpose” for your proposed use.

These are key issues that you will need to understand because they will have to get factored into your business plan and may influence who you approach for funding.

We have the asset management and business planning skills all under one roof to provide your organisation with all the support and advice that you may need to make your project a reality.
